Wafting through the nostrils are heady scents of liquorice, black plum and black cherry followed by vanillin oak, fennel, mocha and spicy Christmas cake notes. The rich voluptuous palate is soaked in spicy black plum and liquorice fruits which overlay fennel, vanillin oak and Christmas cake like characters. Amply powered it finishes with a surprising lick of freshness, polished tannins and a long opulent yet quite vivid aftertaste.
