This whisky is a blend of more than 10 malt and grain whiskies that are aged in five different types of casks from the Chita, Yamakazi and Hakushu distilleries. The colour is a bright brass of unmatched purity and clarity, After a period of extended air contact, fragrances of pepper, dates, oak shavings, cinnamon and dusty cocoa are released. The palate comprises dried fruits, light cocoa, hazelnut and a peppery warmth. The finish is characterised by wood spice and wood shavings, followed by honey and subtle vanilla.
